Privacy & Legal Notice
How Winkler Legal handles your information, and the terms that apply to this website.
Last updated: 24 June 2026.
Part one
Privacy notice.
Winkler Legal Consulting (“Winkler Legal”, “I”, or “me”) respects your privacy. This notice explains what personal information I collect through this website, how I use it, and the choices you have. Brayden Winkler is the data controller, contactable at brayden.winkler@winkler-lawfirm.com.
Information I collect
I only collect personal information that you choose to provide. That is principally the details you submit through the enquiry form or send to me directly: your name, email address, organisation, and the contents of your message. If you contact me by telephone, WhatsApp, email, or LinkedIn, I receive whatever information you include.
This website does not use cookies, analytics, advertising trackers, or similar technologies. The hosting provider may keep standard server logs (such as IP addresses and timestamps) for security and operational purposes.
The enquiry form
The enquiry form is provided through Microsoft Forms. Responses are stored within my Microsoft 365 environment, with Microsoft acting as a data processor under its own data-protection terms. Please do not include confidential or sensitive matter details in the form; a first conversation is the appropriate place for those.
How I use your information
I use the information you provide to respond to your enquiry, to assess and carry out any engagement you ask me to undertake, and to meet professional, regulatory, and legal obligations. I do not use it for marketing without your consent, and I do not sell it.
Sharing
I do not share your personal information except with service providers who help operate the practice (such as Microsoft, as described above), where you have asked me to, or where I am required or permitted to do so by law or professional rules.
Retention
I keep personal information only for as long as needed for the purpose it was provided, and for any period required by applicable law and professional obligations, after which it is deleted or anonymised.
Your rights
Depending on where you are located, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or object to the processing of your personal information, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. To exercise any of these, email brayden.winkler@winkler-lawfirm.com and I will respond within the time required by the applicable law.
International transfers
Because the practice operates across borders, your information may be processed in countries other than your own, including through Microsoft’s infrastructure. Where that occurs, I take reasonable steps to ensure your information remains protected.
Part two
Website terms.
No legal advice
This website is general information only. It is not legal advice, it is not a substitute for advice on your specific circumstances, and it does not create a lawyer–client relationship. A lawyer–client relationship arises only once that is confirmed in writing and any applicable conflicts and engagement checks are complete.
Admission & regulation
Brayden Winkler is admitted to the Supreme Court of New South Wales, Australia. References to other markets describe where clients are served, not separate admissions or registrations.
Intellectual property
The content, design, and wordmark of this website belong to Winkler Legal unless stated otherwise. You may view and share the pages, but please do not reproduce or republish the content without permission.
External links
This website links to third-party services such as LinkedIn, WhatsApp, and Microsoft Forms. I am not responsible for the content or privacy practices of those services; their own terms and policies apply.
Limitation of liability
The information on this website is provided in good faith and on an “as is” basis. To the extent permitted by law, I accept no liability for any loss arising from reliance on it. Nothing here limits any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws applicable at Winkler Legal’s place of business in Casablanca, Morocco, without affecting any mandatory protections available to you in your own jurisdiction.
Changes
I may update this notice from time to time. The current version is always the one published here, with the date shown above.
